Here is a local water loss from a fire loss (water from putting out the fire damaged the stairway); that we remedied this past year. The stairs ended up getting damaged; therefore home owners really wanted to upgrade to hardwood floors, however, this just wasn't in the budget. We discussed with the homeowners other material possibilities that would be in their budget. Finally landing on Pergo laminate flooring. By changing to Pergo we were able to stay within the clients budget and replace the damaged stairs for a fraction of the cost.
