Structural Damage

Exterior rot under a large deck put the structure at huge risk! Water damage can continue to create more damage if not remedied right away. This home had water damage from a privious issue. However, the issue wasn’t ever really resolved and therefore it started to rot out the framing. Rotten framing can cause structural safety in both the home and the deck that it’s supporting. The homeowners started to noticed the deck feeling soft in particular spots when step it on it. They called us to see what the issue was. We find rotten framing behind the siding. We removed the damaged framing and fixed the problem and rebuilt the framing. Now no more rot and a safe deck!
