Over the moon happy!

This week we got some really outstanding news, we were named one of the “Top 5 Individual Franchises for 2017”! Every year SERVPRO announces the 5 top franchises in the state and this year we made the list! We are over the moon happy especially since we have only been in business for 2 years running. We have been working so hard to get our business up and running and out to the public. But at the end we couldn’t have done it without our outstanding SERVPRO family, friends, and clients! We would like to thank everyone who works hard for us and recommends us to their family and friends. Without you we wouldn’t have achieved such a great honor! For that we THANK YOU! Cheers!

Come join the fun!

Come join us as we run in this years Groton Road Race which donates to local scholarship funds in the area. The race coarse tranverses through the beautiful and scenic roads of Groton. It features 4 runs; 1 mile fun run, tot trot, 5k and a 10k. We are currently looking for people to be part our team. Those who sign up will get a free T-shirt to wear durning the race and then its yours to keep! Even if your not running come wave and cheer us on! Contact us today to sign up!

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) creates the standards for the restoration industry and provides training and certification to restoration companies. IICRC Certified Firms have the right to display the IICRC Certified Logo.

IICRC Certified Firms must

• Present accurate information to consumers and conduct business with honesty and integrity.
• Require a technician on all jobs who has been formally trained and passed all required tests.
• Require a continuing education program to keep technicians up-to-date on the latest changes in the industry.
• Maintain liability insurance to protect all parties in the event of an accident.
• Maintain a written complaint policy and agree to Better Business Bureau or similar arbitration to resolve disputes, and accept the conclusions and recommendations of arbitration.

The IICRC Develops The Standards For The Restoration Industry

The IICRC has been the driving force in establishing the main industry standards and reference guides for professional carpet cleaning, water damage restoration and mold remediation. These IICRC standards take years to develop and require the coordination of experts in the field: manufacturers, industry organizations, insurance professionals, training schools, contractors, and public health professionals.

Every five years, the standards are reviewed and updated. The water damage restoration field changes rapidly with advancements in technology and science, and therefore the standards must evolve to keep pace.
